Tumble privacy policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026 (version 1.1, adds Friends) · App: Tumble (com.lazycode.tumble) · Developer: Lazycode
Tumble is a live wallpaper with tilt-controlled mini games. The games never go online. Only the optional Friends section does, and only if you sign in: it shares your name, photo and best scores with the friends you invite. No ads, no tracking.
If you don't use Friends
Tumble collects nothing. Your chosen game, character and best scores are saved only in the app's private storage on your phone, and uninstalling Tumble deletes them.
If you sign in to Friends
Friends is optional. When you sign in with your Google account, Tumble stores:
- Your name and profile photo from your Google account, shown to your friends on the leaderboard.
- An account ID created by the sign-in, used to keep your data together. Your email address is kept with your sign-in account to identify you, and is never shown to anyone.
- Your invite code, so friends can join you.
- Your best score in each of the four games.
- Your friend connections: who joined whom.
Only the friends you connect with can see your name, photo and best scores. Nothing else is synced: no play time, no sensor data, nothing about how or when you use your phone.
This data is stored with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Firestore with servers in India) under Firebase's privacy terms, and is encrypted in transit. We never sell it or use it for ads.
Friend notifications
If you're signed in, Tumble checks a few times a day whether a friend beat one of your bests or joined your crew, and may show a notification on your phone. This check happens on your phone; no notification service receives your data. You can turn these off in the Friends menu or in Android's settings.
Deleting your data
In Tumble, open Friends, tap ••• and choose Delete my account. This permanently deletes your name, photo, invite code, synced scores, friend connections and sign-in account. You can also follow the steps at tumble.lazycode.ai/delete or email us. Signing out stops syncing but keeps your account until you delete it.
Motion sensor
The games are played by tilting your phone, so Tumble reads the gravity / motion sensor while the wallpaper is visible. Sensor readings are used only to move your character in that moment. They are never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
Ads and analytics
Tumble shows no ads and contains no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Purchases
If Tumble ever offers an optional in-app purchase, payment is handled entirely by Google Play under Google's privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
Children
Tumble is not directed at children under 13. Friends requires a Google account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed in, email us and we will delete the account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
